Sport Injuries

Are you an athlete? Running, dancing, and sports can be tough on your feet, but don’t let an injury slow you down. Our foot and ankle specialists can make sure you get back in the game at 100%.

Ankle Sprains plague athletes in many sports. Sprains occur in varying degrees of severity, but any sprain is cause for concern. Some might heal in a few days with rest and ice. More severe sprains can take months to heal. Guidance from a podiatrist can help you determine the best treatment plan so you can get back to doing what you love.

Stress fractures are partial breaks of the bone. Athletes in high-impact sports are especially vulnerable to stress fractures.  Wearing quality, well-fitting footwear can help protect athletes from a stress factor.  If you suspect you have a stress factor in your foot, please request an appointment at one of our convenient Twin Cities clinic locations.

Achilles Tendonitis, the inflammation of the Achilles tendon can be caused by repeated motions.  Athletes know that consistency is key to success, so repetitive motions are common in sports.  This inflammation is called Achilles Tendonitis, and it can be a very painful condition.  If you are bothered by pain in your lower leg and heel, you might be suffering from Achilles Tendonitis.  Give us a call today, and one of our friendly podiatrists will help you get relief.

Same Day Surgery

Most of the surgical procedures, including surgical treatment for bunions, fractures, hammertoes, or repair of tendon tears/ruptures are performed as outpatient surgery. Admitting patients to the hospital after a surgical procedure depends on the patient’s condition and procedure. The Podiatric Foot and Ankle Surgeons at Pinnacle Foot and Ankle perform the majority of outpatient surgery at

  • Fairview Southdale Hospital
  • Fairview Ridges Hospital
  • Centennial Lakes Surgery Center
  • United Hospital Mercy Hospital
